2022-04-12Mosul Technical Institute organizes a scientific course on lifestyle and its role in preventing chronic diseases
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, President of the Northern Technical University, and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Shahla Abdel-Wahab Abdel-Qader, Dean of the Technical Institute of Mosul, the Department of Community Health Technologies organized a course entitled (Lifestyle and its role in the prevention of chronic diseases) in which lectures take turns:

- Mr. Dhafer Miser Jabr (Assistant Teacher)
- Miss Liqa Khaled Ahmed (Teacher)
- Mr. Shukr Abdul Karim Mahmoud (Assistant Teacher)
- Mr. Fahd Maiser Muhammad (Assistant Teacher)
The course dealt with the topics related to chronic diseases and their relationship to the basics of healthy nutrition and its impact on lifestyle
The course aims to:
- Follow a healthy lifestyle.
- Spread awareness of the importance of nutrition and distinguishing between good and unhealthy foods.
The session came out with several recommendations:
- Doing exercise regularly.
- Reducing the intake of foods rich in calories.
- Avoid stress and stay away from everything that causes an imbalance in the diet.
