Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, President of the Northern Technical University, and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Shahla Abdel-Wahab Abdel-Qader, Dean of the Technical Institute of Mosul, the Department of Electronic Technologies organized its session entitled (How to write a good research paper), in which the lecture was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Khaled Sobhi Ahmed

The course dealt with the correct academic method for writing a research paper, the objective of the course is to introduce the method of writing the research paper and what are the reasons that lead to the rejection of the research paper when it is submitted for publication, especially in Scopas and Clarvet journals.

The session came out with several recommendations, including:

• Organizing courses covering all topics related to the correct methods of publishing research in reputable scientific journals.
• Involving graduate students in such activities.
• Emphasis on the points mentioned in the course, lead to the rejection of the research paper quickly by the editor-in-chief of the journal.
