2022-11-08Master’s thesis at the Northern Technical University examines the characterization of the improvement of heat transfer of oscillating vertical flat fins under natural convection
The master’s thesis at the Technical College of Kirkuk discussed (Characterization of the improvement of heat transfer of vibrating vertical flat fins under natural convection).
The study aims to verify the effect of vibration on improving heat transfer from a flat-finned heat sink experimentally, theoretically, and numerically using ANSYS Fluent. 50) Hertz.
The researcher concluded that there is a good agreement between both the theoretical and numerical results with the experimental results regarding the temperature distribution on the fin, in addition, the percentage of improvement in thermal performance compared to the rest state of the dispersant ranged (from 43 to 63)%.
