Under the auspices of the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and under the direct supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Sami Rida Aslan, Dean of the Technical College of Engineering, Kirkuk organizes a legal administrative course entitled “Provisions of non-financial rights for employees and contractors in Iraqi law”, the lecture was delivered by Dr. Saddam Ali Hadi.

The course dealt with:

The non-financial rights of the employee and the contractor in Iraqi law

The course aimed to:

• Educating the employee and the contractor about their non-financial rights
• Explanation of the types and provisions of leaves for the employee and the contractor
• Clarify the administration’s authority to grant leave

The session came out with several recommendations, including:

• There should be discussion sessions between management and employees about the mechanism for obtaining vacations
• The course emphasized the development of the skills of the employees and contract officials in the college by engaging them in advanced courses with administrative specialization.
