The course dealt with:

• A detailed explanation of “ISO 14001 Environmental Management System”
• What are the benefits of ISO 14001 Environmental Management System

ISO 14001 was developed to help companies reduce environmental impacts and improve management control. In addition to performance improvements, it provides better economic benefits by adopting the ISO standard. With these regulations, reducing fines arising from environmental responsibilities and contributing to the waste management of the company are the main benefits. It demonstrates to stakeholders that it is doing more efficient and quality work for its customers and is in control of operations. It provides a market and competitive advantage against companies that do not apply the system in the sector. Provides reduced potential insurance costs. Reduces infrastructure replacement costs.

The course aimed to:

1. Enhance knowledge of the benefits of ISO 14001 Environmental Management System
2. Compliance with both national and international regulations is ensured.
3. Gives reputation to the organization in the local and international markets.
4. The permit and licensing documents obtained according to the types of activities can be obtained more easily.
