The Administrative Technical College / Mosul held the discussion of a Higher Diploma research in Business Management Technologies, submitted by Khalid Aziz Suleiman, entitled:
“The Role of Information and Communication Technology in Implementing the Requirements of Environmental Total Quality Management: A Study of the Opinions of a Sample of Managers at the Northern Technical University.”
The discussion took place at Al-Hikma Hall on Monday, 15 December 2025.

The research aimed to analyze the impact of Information and Communication Technology (ICT)—represented by hardware and equipment, applications, software, communication networks, and human resources—on the implementation of Environmental Total Quality Management (ETQM) at the Northern Technical University, using the descriptive–analytical approach.

A questionnaire was employed as the main data collection tool, covering the dimensions of ICT and ETQM. It was distributed to a sample of 67 department heads, division and unit officers, and their assistants across the university’s colleges and institutes. Data were analyzed using SPSS V.26.

The results revealed significant positive correlations and effects between ICT dimensions and the requirements of Environmental Total Quality Management at both the overall and partial levels. Top management commitment emerged as one of the most influential dimensions. The findings also emphasized that investing in technical infrastructure and human resource development enhances the institution’s capacity to address environmental challenges and achieve sustainability goals.
