Hawija Technical Institute organizes a workshop on (Network Design Using Packet Tracer)

Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Omar Khalil Ahmed, Dean of the Institute. The Computer and Internet Division at Hawija Technical Institute organized a workshop on (Network Design Using Packet Tracer).

Present at the workshop:

  • Dr. Munif Abdullah Ahmed, a teacher at the Hawija Technical Institute.
  • Mr. Abdul Khaleq Abdullah / M.R. Engineers at the institute.

A number of the institute’s employees attended.

The workshop dealt with:

  1. Introducing the participants to the Packet Tracer program.
  2. Explanation of the program interface, menus, and bars in the program interface and the drawing area.
  3. Build a local network.

The workshop indicated:

  1. How the trainee can benefit from the technologies provided by the Packet Tracer program. In accomplishing many operations in network design quickly and more accurately and professionally presenting them.
  2. How to use network devices in Packet Tracer.

The workshop aimed to:

  1. Teaching workshop participants on the foundations and rules of network design using Packet Tracer
  2. Helping the trainee to experiment and create their design ideas in building networks.

The workshop came out with several recommendations, including:

  1. Urging the workshop participants to use this program in network design.
  2. The possibility of using this program in network design training because of its great potential in this field
