Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Omar Khalil Ahmed, Dean of the Institute, the Department of Power Mechanics Techniques organized a scientific symposium on (Industrial Waste Recycling)

The lecture was delivered at the symposium by Dr. Obaid Majid Ali (Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs).

It was attended by a number of the institute’s employees and students

The symposium dealt with the types of industrial waste and its sources.

The symposium showed the impact of industrial waste on humans and the environment

The symposium aimed to raise awareness of the dangers of industrial waste.

The seminar came out with the following recommendations:

• The need to reduce industrial waste.
• Finding appropriate ways to recycle and utilize these wastes.
