From the United Arab Emirates… Activities of the President of the Northern Technical University.

The second conference of the Francophone University Presidents’ Office in the Middle East concluded today. The conference was attended by a large number of Francophone university presidents and their representatives in the Middle East, along with Mr. Jean-Noël Paliou, the regional director of the Francophone University Agency in the Middle East, Dr. Salim Dakkash, the director of the Francophone University Presidents’ Office, and Professor Dr. Alyaa Abbas Ali Al-Attar, the President of the Northern Technical University.

The heads of the four conference committees—namely, the Scientific Research Committee, the Quality Assurance Committee, the International Relations Committee, and the Mediation in Conflict Management Committee—presented their achievements from the past year. They discussed their proposals, plans, and updates regarding their committees. It was decided that Saint Joseph University in Lebanon would host the third conference of the Francophone University Presidents’ Office. Additionally, discussions were held on how to develop and enhance academic cooperation among Francophone universities in the Middle East.
