Northern Technical University signs a memorandum of cooperation with Sulaimaniyah Technical University.
Based on the spirit of scientific and research cooperation and the harmony of civilizations between Assur, Nineveh, Mosul Hadba’a, and our beloved north, without geographical boundaries, and under the slogan “From Zakho to Al-Faw,” Northern Technical University extends its reach through its cooperation with Iraqi universities. Northern Technical University, represented by Mrs. President of the University, Prof. Dr. Aliaa Abbas Ali Al-Atar, and Sulaimaniyah University, represented by Prof. Dr. Hoshiar Abdulah Aziz, signed a cooperation agreement in the presence of the councils of both universities. The agreement includes the following:
– Cooperation in the field of exchanging administrative expertise and programs related to educational institution management.
– Organizing training courses to enhance the efficiency of all administrative staff.
– Exchange of expertise related to evaluation, auditing, and quality assurance certificates for scientific programs as a whole.
– Development of research centers and units through joint scientific cooperation.
– During the signing of the agreement, the President of the University stated that this agreement will enhance the avenues for advancing the professional, scientific, and administrative performance between the two universities and in all scientific fields through research areas, organizing training courses, joint workshops, and more. She called for expanding the horizons of cooperation between the two sides for the benefit of our educational institutions. At the end of the meeting, the President of Sulaimaniyah University presented the University’s shield as appreciation for the efforts made by the President of our university in concluding this agreement, bearing the burden of travel. In return, the President of our university presented the University’s shield to the President of Sulaimaniyah Technical University, along with a gift representing the minaret of Hadba’a and a package of introductory materials about the university. She thanked them and appreciated the warm hospitality and reception, wishing them all the best.
