For the first time since its founding, our Northern Technical University is in the service of society…

As we have pledged to our university as a symbol of creativity and excellence, with wise leadership and vigorous follow-up from the President of the University, we see it today as unique at the level of universities in partnership with organizations to support the community through academic and engineering staff through reconstruction, projects and all university formations. On this occasion, the President of the Northern Technical University met Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, in the presence of representatives of the Solidarity Organization, and in the presence of the assistant president of the university for scientific affairs, the assistant professor, Dr. With international organizations aiming to develop the infrastructure of Nineveh Governorate, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, President of the Northern Technical University, met with representatives of the Solidarity International Organization, and they discussed the conclusion and the projects to be implemented in the corridors of the Northern Technical University and in the district of Sinjar and Baaj through cooperation between the organization and the university.

These projects aim to advance the agricultural situation and develop livelihoods to support the stability of these areas and work on the sustainability of the water content in western Nineveh. The nature of sustainable projects was discussed, and it was agreed to fund research and graduation projects for university students for the next academic year, which are concerned with reducing the impact of climate change in Nineveh.
