Engineering Technical College / Mosul organizes a workshop entitled Modern Education Strategies

Under the auspices of the President of the Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and under the supervision of the Dean of the Engineering Technical College, Mosul,
The Division of Quality Assurance and University Performance Within the framework of the National Program Accreditation Standards Requirements Plan, a workshop entitled: Modern Education Strategies
The workshop showed: – Strategies that focus more on teaching students to improve their mental behavior by using new ideas and innovative and different visual means that are easier to communicate information to the recipient and achieve an understanding of the subject.
The workshop aims to introduce contemporary teaching methods and learn about their types that will help reduce competition among students, enhance cooperation, and support a healthy university study environment.
The workshop came out with several recommendations, including:
Adopting modern strategies in education because they are:
• More interactive and keep students safe. Students’ interest in animations, videos, and visuals is much better than in any other means of instruction.
• Help memorize information quickly and for a longer period.
• Less time-consuming in communicating the idea and stimulating the mind.
• Clearer visual vision and easy storage and retrieval.

Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Sabah Zarzis, Head of the Medical Devices Engineering Department.
Several faculty members participated in it.
