Northern Technical University wins the second place in the Iraqi Universities Debate /at the level of Nineveh universities
Under the patronage of Northern Technical University President, Prof.Dr. Aliaa Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Rafeh Mahmoud, University President Assistant for Scientific Affairs, Northern Technical University shone in the Iraqi Universities Debate – the second edition at the level of Nineveh Governorate universities, which was organized by the International Academy for Leadership and Development, and supervised by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The Debate witnessed the participation of eight universities from Nineveh Governorate, namely: (University of Mosul, University of Noor, University of Hamdaniya, University of Hadbaa, University of Nineveh, Al-Qabas Private College)
The Debate activities included student competition in an atmosphere full of enthusiasm and challenge, where they discussed various cultural, scientific, and societal issues, reflecting their intellectual abilities and creativity in formulating arguments and building opinions in a scientific and professional manner.
Northern Technical University was able to achieve second place, outperforming six other universities, in an achievement that highlights the excellence of its students and their high efficiency in the fields of dialogue and debate. This result reflects the commitment of Northern Technical University to sponsor and support its students and graduates, and develop their scientific and professional capabilities, by involving them in activities that develop critical thinking skills, analysis, and teamwork. The university is also keen to enhance the spirit of competition and excellence, which contributes to preparing a generation capable of facing future challenges and building an advanced knowledge society
