Al-Door Technical Institute organizes a course entitled “Heart Failure: Diagnosis and Treatment”…

Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University and under the supervision of the Dean of the Technical Institute, Al-Dur, the Department of Immediate Aid at the Institute organized, for the period from (15-to 17) May this year, a course entitled “Heart Failure: Diagnosis and Treatment”, assistant teacher Sawsan Salman Hosi. It was attended by a number of the institute’s employees.

The session dealt with the following topics:

  • The first axis: defining of the mechanism of work of the heart and its function.
  • The second axis: the definition of the disease and how to diagnose it.
  • The third axis: Introducing attendees to the importance of periodic examinations, how to follow up on chronic diseases and how to prevent them to avoid their aggravation.

The course aimed to introduce the disease of heart failure, know the causes that lead to the occurrence of the condition, and address the most important tests necessary for an accurate diagnosis of the disease before the situation worsens.

The session indicated:

  • The importance of periodic follow-up and taking the necessary examinations to avoid the deterioration of the patient’s health
  • Eat healthy food and exercise regularly
  • Organizing educational seminars for the community in villages and rural areas, especially for a large number of injuries in those areas, and raising their awareness on an ongoing basis.
