Under the guidance of the President of the Northern Technical University and in continuation of the expanded campaign launched by her Excellency two years ago to make our university green and in cooperation with the Hussainiya Holy Shrine in Karbala, the President of the Northern Technical University inaugurated today and in the presence of the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Rafeh Mahmoud, the fifth specialized forest in Our university, which contains 60 fruitful palm trees, provided by the threshold to our university, and work continue by the end of the year to establish 5 new forests in support of the green university environment, which will increase the green space in our university and create an appropriate university atmosphere for our dear affiliates and students.

The President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, praised the “Al-Ataba Al-Hussainiya Al-Moqaddasa” for this initiative, which made sure that the cities and universities of Iraq were a green environment and a sustainable Iraq, and that such actions reflect what is known about the “Al-Ataba”‘s openness to everything that serves the education process. and Iraq. We hope that God Almighty will preserve it for Iraq as it is a safety valve for all of Iraq.
