University President Meets Director and Staff of the Artificial Intelligence Center

The President of the Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Aliaa Abbas Ali Al-Attar, met with the Director and staff of the University’s Artificial Intelligence Center as part of her ongoing commitment to monitoring the performance of research centers and advancing an innovative technological environment.

During the meeting, the President listened to a comprehensive presentation delivered by the Center’s Director, outlining the  projects currently being undertaken in the fields of artificial intelligence and machine learning, as well as their applications in supporting the educational process and scientific research. The discussion also addressed the key challenges facing the Center and the proposed solutions to overcome them.

The University President emphasized the importance of supporting the Artificial Intelligence Center as a fundamental pillar in keeping pace with global technological advancements. She stressed the need to strengthen collaboration between the Center and various colleges, and to encourage students to actively engage in AI-related projects in ways that enhance their skills and foster creativity.

Furthermore, she directed the  of providing a suitable research environment and intensifying specialized training programs and workshops to reinforce the University’s standing as a leading institution in modern technologies.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Director and staff of the Center expressed their appreciation and gratitude to the University President for her continued support and dedication to advancing research and technological development within the University.
