The President of the Northern Technical University inaugurates the Department of Emergency Medical Services / Clinical Virtual Reality Lab at Al-Dour Technical Institute.

Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, President of the Northern Technical University, inaugurated the Department of Emergency Medical Services / Clinical Virtual Reality Lab at Al-Dour Technical Institute, in the presence of the Dean of the Institute, as part of the university’s efforts to develop the technical education environment and enhance the use of modern technologies in medical training.

Her Excellency affirmed during the inauguration that the establishment of this lab represents a qualitative step in supporting students’ practical skills, by providing an advanced simulation environment that contributes to preparing cadres capable of handling emergency cases with high efficiency, in line with labor market requirements and the rapid advancements in the healthcare sector.

The inauguration ceremony witnessed the attendance of a number of university assistants, college deans, and institute staff, during which they reviewed the modern devices and technologies housed in the lab and listened to a detailed explanation of the working mechanism and approved training programs.

The opening of this lab comes as part of a series of developmental projects undertaken by the university presidency, aimed at elevating the academic and applied level and enhancing the quality of educational outcomes in medical and technical specializations.
