The University Organizes Campaign to Plant Millions of Peppertree Seeds as Part of the Tree Initiative

Northern Technical University organized a campaign to plant millions of peppertree seeds as part of the #shajjr initiative. Under the sponsorship and presence of the President of Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alyaa Abbas Ali Al-Attar, the Department of Science and Technology Gardens, the Media and Government Communication Department, and the Diwan Affairs Department conducted the campaign in collaboration with the Muthabirun Charity Foundation for Environment and Development and Al-Hadbaa Hospital, with the attendance of thalassemia patients. This is a humanitarian and environmental step that reflects the spirit of community support and environmental responsibility.

The campaign aims to increase green spaces, contribute to combating desertification, raise awareness about the importance of preserving the environment, and support specific health groups by involving them in community activities, thereby enhancing values of belonging and positive participation.

This initiative reaffirms the role of Northern Technical University in serving the community and consolidating partnerships with health institutions and civil society organizations, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals.
