The university is organizing a cultural trip for students in the dormitories and students of the “Study in Iraq” initiative

The Northern Technical University organized a cultural trip for dormitory students and students of the “Study in Iraq” initiative to the Great Mosque (Al-Nouri).

Under the guidance of the President of the Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, the Department of Media and Government Communication, in cooperation with the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, organized a cultural trip for dormitory students, including students of the “Study in Iraq” program, to the Great Mosque of Al-Nouri in Mosul.

The trip aimed to introduce dormitory students, especially international students, to the religious and historical significance of the Great Mosque of Al-Nouri, as well as to enhance their awareness of Iraqi cultural heritage, thus contributing to their integration into society and broadening their intellectual horizons.

The visit included a group breakfast and a tour of the mosque’s museum, where students viewed its collection of artifacts and archaeological gifts that document important periods of Islamic history. This initiative comes within the vision of the Northern Technical University, which aims to provide an integrated educational environment that combines academic knowledge and cultural experience, thereby enhancing its ability to attract international students and supporting scientific and cultural exchange programs.
