Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, President of the University, and the supervision of Assistant Prof. Dr. Maha Al-Taif Jassim, Dean of the Institute, the Scientific Division of the Institute, in cooperation with the Community Police Division in Salah Al-Din, organized an awareness seminar entitled “The Dangers of Intellectual Extremism and How to Fight It” and delivered by Lieutenant Colonel (Ali Fanar Khattab) The community police officer in the role district and was attended by a large number of employees and students of the scientific departments at the institute.

Introducing extremism, its types, how it leads to terrorism, negative phenomena, its causes, and ways to prevent it.
The symposium showed the importance of society rejecting extremism and educating students not to be drawn into extremism to preserve society.
