Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Al-Attar, and under the guidance of the Dean of the Technical Agricultural College, Prof. Dr. Shihab Ahmed Al-Bajari, the Quality Assurance and University Performance Division, in cooperation with the Quality Assurance Department at the University Presidency, and within the framework of sustainable development activities, organized and concluded a training course entitled “Modern Agricultural Technologies and Their Role in Sustainable Development.”

The course lectures were delivered by:

• Assist. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Ibrahim Yusuf

The course aimed to highlight the latest contemporary agricultural applications, enhance awareness of the importance of technology in improving production efficiency, rationalize the use of resources, and achieve the environmental and economic goals of sustainable development.

The course concluded with several key recommendations, most notably the necessity of adopting smart technologies in agricultural production, strengthening continuous training for workers in the agricultural sector, supporting research initiatives that contribute to the development of sustainable farming methods, and encouraging cooperation between academic institutions and the agricultural sector to apply modern technologies in practice.

A number of faculty members and staff of the Technical Agricultural College – Mosul participated in the course, reflecting the college’s commitment to promoting sustainable development concepts and keeping pace with modern agricultural advancements.
