Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Al-Attar, and under the guidance of the Dean of the Technical Agricultural College, Prof. Dr. Shihab Ahmed Al-Bajari, and the supervision of the Head of the Plant Production Technologies Department, Assist. Prof. Dr. Waad Saeed Fayzi, the department organized a scientific visit for its students to the nurseries of the Nineveh Municipality Directorate.

The visit aimed to familiarize students with different types of forest trees, ornamental plants, and fruit trees, as well as to identify the most common pests and diseases affecting these plant species. This field activity contributed significantly to enhancing students’ practical knowledge and linking theoretical concepts with real-world agricultural practices.
