The Supreme Council for Quality Assurance at Northern Technical University held its regular meeting, headed by the President of the University, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and in the presence of all members of the Council. The requirements for institutional and program accreditation, international accreditation, global classifications, national classification, and quality requirements for applying the Bologna process and ISO standard specifications were discussed. The members of the Council stressed the focus on the importance of accreditation and improving the quality of education in the next stage by achieving institutional accreditation standards, spreading and enhancing the culture of quality, and motivating the employees of the institution to continuously strive for excellence at the national and international levels to achieve a prominent position for the university in the academic arena and scientific research. The Council decided to develop a plan with a specific time frame to implement all requirements and at all levels related to quality and its improvement.
