The President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, participated in the Fifth Steering Committee Meeting of the Educational and Technical Training Reform Programme in Iraq (Phase II) funded by the European Union.

During her intervention, the President of our University stressed the importance of continuing with the project because of its positive results on technical education in technical universities in particular and its outputs and on the labour sector in Iraq in general.

Dr. Alaa Abd al-Hassan, Adviser to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, noted that higher education has garnered many important achievements from this program, conveying the Ministry’s thanks to all the sponsors and supporters of the program, i.e. UTESCO, the European Union and technical universities.
