The President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, responded to the kind invitation from His Excellency the Turkish Consul General, Mr. Mehmet Kucuk Sakli in Nineveh Governorate. During this visit, they discussed the support of the Turkish side to the Northern Technical University by providing more than 1200 trees. For her part, she thanked her Excellency His Excellency the Consul for his great support for our university, which was manifested in his support for the broad campaign launched by the President of the University last April to make our university green. During the meeting, His Excellency the Consul offered to provide other scientific support through the joint academic cooperation between our university and Turkish universities. Meetings were held via the virtual space platform between the President of the University and several Turkish university presidents who expressed their great willingness for academic and research cooperation with our university, which will result in the signing of cooperation agreements. A joint member soon, God willing, and her Excellency spoke by phone with the Turkish Agricultural Attaché in Baghdad about the possibility of their cooperation with our university to support our project on food security safety.
