The President of the Northern Technical University attends part of the technical master’s thesis discussion at the Northern Technical University, which discusses information and communication technology and its implications for human resource management practices…

As part of her scientific and continuing interests and the follow-up of postgraduate students, the President of the Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, attended a part of the discussion of her master’s thesis in the Administrative Technical College, specializing in business management techniques tagged (information and communication technology and its implications for human resource management practices / a survey study of the opinions of a sample of Managers in Mosul Municipality Directorate)
The thesis submitted by the student (Hassan Mazen Abdullah Youssef) aimed to determine the implications or impact of information and communication technology on human resources management practices in the Mosul Municipality Directorate in Nineveh Governorate, reflecting the treatment of a research problem that is “to what extent can information and communication technology affect the practices of Human Resources Department in Mosul Municipality Directorate
Part of the thesis of the discussion was also attended by the Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Thanon Younis Thanon, the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Samir Taha Yassin, the Assistant Dean for Administrative and Scientific Affairs, the Dean of the Technical Institute of Nineveh, the heads of departments, several faculty members, faculty members, and postgraduate students.
The study reached a set of conclusions that emphasized the availability of high levels of information and communication technology dimensions in the sample studied, and its serious endeavor to use it in the application of human resource management practices, as well as the existence of correlation and influence relationships between information and communication technology and human resource management practices at the level of their macro and partial dimensions. And in a way that indicates that information and communication technology can be used in the practices pursued by human resources management in the researched organization.
The study concluded its endeavor by presenting several necessary proposals for the organizations in general, and the research in particular, about the two variables of the study.
