A delegation from the Northern Technical University visits Ghent University in Belgium as part of the principle of international cooperation between the Northern Technical University and global universities. This visit aligns with the university’s mission and vision to strengthen cultural and academic relations with international universities and to learn from global experiences in scientific research across various technical disciplines. The visit was directed by Dr. Aliaa Abbas Ali Al-Attar, the President of the Northern Technical University. Dr. Abdullah Qutaiba Shanshal, the head of the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Department, and a member of the Internationalization Group, represented the university in the delegation.
During the visit, they were received by Mr. Frederic de Decker, the Director of the International Office at Ghent University, who gave a presentation introducing Ghent University and its successful experiences in implementing the Bologna Process and the steps taken in internationalization. At the end of the meeting, a university shield was presented to Mr. De Decker as an expression of gratitude for the cooperation and warm reception.
