The Northern Technical University participates in training trainers in the fourth session for preparing trainers for modern teaching methods.

In an effort by our university, represented by its president, Dr. Aliya Abbas Ali Al-Attar, to develop and enhance the capabilities of teaching staff in Iraqi universities, and its impact on the quality and development of education to a level that matches international universities, Assistant Professor Fawaz Fadel Ali, Director of the Scientific Affairs Department at our university and a member of the executive committee and the experts committee in preparing the curriculum for modern teaching methods towards integrated learning, participated with a group of experts and trainers from various Iraqi universities in delivering a number of lectures in person and electronically as part of the course organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Department of Studies, Planning, and Follow-up. The duration of the course was one month, hosted by the University of Kufa in the city of Najaf Al-Ashraf for the in-person part of the course, which lasted for two separate weeks. During the course, several concepts and strategies of teaching and learning were addressed according to modern systems supported by e-learning, as well as strengthening the basic pillars for developing education in Iraqi universities, including fundamental concepts of education, instructional design, assessment, evaluation, facilitation strategies, development of digital content, quality of education, professional ethics, scientific publishing, and scientific research methodology. The training lecture delivered by Dr. Fawaz Fadel Ali focused on the ethics of scientific research and the basic principle for forming local and international research teams.
