As a continuation of the program of the Iraqi National Evaluator Course for Institutional Accreditation Standards, the Northern Technical University, represented by Assistant Professor Dr. Fawaz Fadel Ali, Director of the Scientific Affairs Department and responsible for the Quality Assurance Division at the Health and Medical Technical College / Kirkuk, participated in the session of the National Council for Institutional Accreditation, where the course program included addressing national standards For the accreditation of academic institutions and the steps and procedures related to the evaluation process. Al-Ameed University hosted the activities of the course, organized by the National Council for Institutional Accreditation and the Ministerial Quality Assurance Department, in cooperation with the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department at Al-Ameed University and within the strategic plan to obtain institutional accreditation.
During the course, the first phase of the requirements for institutional accreditation was completed, and the trainees were distributed to small group halls to complete the collection of qualitative evidence for the eight standards, according to the instructions of the Institutional Accreditation Standards Guide. The program included visits and tours in the Dean’s educational groups.
