The Northern Technical University participated in the first workshop of the Second E-Governance Conference in Nineveh 2024.

Under the direction of the President of the Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and in line with the directives from the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers regarding the necessity of implementing e-governance across all state departments and institutions, our university, represented by Dr. Farqad Hamid Abdul Rahim, the supervisor of the e-governance file in Nineveh and a member of the Ministry’s Culture Committee, took part in delivering lectures at the first workshop of the Second E-Governance Conference. The conference was organized with the support and sponsorship of NB TEL Communications.

The workshop was attended by approximately 168 specialists and representatives from various departments and offices of Nineveh Governorate. The event included a welcoming speech to the participants, a lecture on good governance presented by the Liberation Association for Development, and another lecture by Dr. Hisham Hashim Al-Shukrji on the IT infrastructure. This was followed by a practical application lecture on designing a communication network for e-government, presented by Mr. Hisham Jasim Mohammed from NB TEL.
