was organized by the Department of Governmental Media and Communication and the Women’s Empowerment Division in collaboration with the Medical Institute/Mosul. The seminar discussed the definition of moral decay and its causes from both religious and medical perspectives. It also addressed the importance of educating young people about the dangers and effects of homosexuality on individuals and communities, encouraging young people to get married, and educating families on ways to protect themselves from moral decay in general and homosexuality in particular. There is no evidence that homosexuality has any negative medical effects, but some studies have found that individuals may face social and emotional challenges due to bias, leading to health and mental health problems such as depression.
