The Northern Technical University is building bridges of joint cooperation with global universities from our beloved Iraq to the Kingdom of Malaysia.

The President of the Northern Technical University signed a memorandum of understanding with the National University in the Kingdom of Malaysia.
Emanating from the vision of the Honorable Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research to promote international cooperation, the President of the Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alaa Abbas Ali Al-Attar, visited the National University in Malaysia at the head of a university delegation that included the Assistant President for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Thanoon Younis Thanoon, the Deputy Dean of the Technical Medical Institute, and a group of department directors at the University Presidency, to sign a scientific memorandum of understanding.
During the meeting, the President of the University expressed her thanks to the Presidency of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia for the hospitality and warm reception, then she gave a detailed explanation of the university’s vision and objectives, emphasizing that our university focuses on openness to global universities in harmony with the vision of our esteemed ministry in internationalizing universities and exchanging students.
She pointed to the research activities and scientific conferences organized by the university, stressing the importance of signing the memorandum within the framework of strengthening scientific and cultural relations with reputable universities.
For its part, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia welcomed the visiting delegation and provided a historical overview of the university, praying that the memorandum will achieve the desired benefit for both parties.
The agreement covers the exchange of scientific expertise, through the exchange of faculty members and support for scientific projects, enhancing cooperation in publishing joint scientific research and attending conferences and scientific events.
At the end of the ceremony, commemorative gifts were exchanged between the two parties, in the presence of directors of scientific and administrative departments in both universities
