Under the auspices of the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and under the supervision and presence of the Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Thanon Younis Thanon, our university hosted the Iraqi Universities Volleyball Championship for female students in the closed sports hall at the university site in Kirkuk, in the presence of the Dean of the Nineveh Technical Institute and Mrs. Dean The Technical Institute of Kirkuk and the Director of the Student Activities Department at the Presidency of the University, Mr. Shamil Talee Yahya.
The first activity took place, starting with reading verses from the Holy Quran, followed by reading Surat Al-Fatihah, then playing the national anthem and the university anthem, followed by the speech of the administrative assistant on behalf of the president of the university
In conclusion, shields of appreciation were distributed to the participating teams.
