Prof.Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, President of the Northern Technical University, announced the establishment of the first specialized center for network and IT infrastructure management among Iraqi universities, under the name “Network Operations Center (NOC).” This initiative aligns with the university’s efforts to support digital transformation and enhance its technological infrastructure.

The University’s Computer Center has spearheaded the creation of this vital facility, which will oversee the management and operation of the university’s networks across its five campuses located in three provinces. The center aims to ensure the efficiency and continuity of technological services while strengthening information security. It will also collaborate closely with the university’s data center to enable advanced infrastructure management and support the digital transformation of academic and administrative operations.

In her statement, Professor Al-Attar emphasized that the NOC is a cornerstone of the university’s strategy to achieve digital transformation and develop advanced technology systems. She noted that the center will enhance the efficiency of technical systems, provide technical and training support for staff, and bolster the university’s role as a leading educational institution.
