*Signing a Letter of Intent Between the Northern Technical University and Gulf College to Strengthen Academic Cooperation*

On Monday, December 16, 2024, the Omani capital, Muscat, witnessed a significant academic gathering between Iraq’s Northern Technical University (NTU) and Oman’s Gulf College. The event marked the signing of a letter of intent aimed at fostering academic and research cooperation between the two institutions.

This distinguished event was attended by prominent delegations from both sides. Leading the NTU delegation was the respected university president, *Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Al-Attar, while **Professor Dr. Ali Al-Badi*, the esteemed dean of Gulf College, represented his institution. This high-level participation reflects both institutions’ commitment to developing a strategic partnership that aligns with their educational objectives.

Also present at the event was *His Excellency Qais Saad Al-Ameri*, Iraq’s ambassador to Oman, who emphasized in his speech the importance of this cooperation in strengthening cultural and academic ties between the two countries.

Furthermore, *His Excellency Mahmoud Mohammed Al-Tamimi*, Chairman of Iraq’s Federal Service Council, attended the event.
