The President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, chaired the Council of the Northern Technical University in its second open session for the academic year 2021-2022, in the presence of the Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Thanoon Yonis Thanoon, and the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Rafie Mahmood, and The deans of the university’s faculties and institutes and the rapporteur of the council, the meeting took place in the council hall of the Agricultural Technical College of Mosul after its inauguration by the president of the university today. The session discussed several matters, including:

1. Directives of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
2. Urging university employees to take the vaccine against the Corona virus.
3. Urging researchers to participate in publishing research in the journals issued by our university
4. Preparations to receive the students of the first stage.
