The Northern Technical University actively sponsored and participated in the 22nd Scientific Conference on Natural and Applied Sciences held in the United Arab Emirates under the title “From Development to the Latest”.

The conference aimed to enhance the role of applied sciences in serving society, finding solutions to its problems, and meeting its needs. It also provided an opportunity for researchers from local, Arab, and international universities interested in science and technology to meet, exchange knowledge, experiences, and research in various scientific fields and research issues. The conference was held from January 23-25, 2024, and was under the patronage of Professor Dr. Alyaa Abbas Ali Al-Attar, President of the Northern Technical University. It is worth mentioning that the conference was sponsored by 15 scientific institutions, including the College of Education for Pure Sciences at Tikrit University, which is keen to encourage the role of applied scientific research in the field of natural and applied sciences and to demonstrate the practices of scientific research in this field and its role in serving society. The conference was overseen by a specialized scientific committee with the participation of 37 specialized members from various Iraqi universities and institutes, contributing to the exchange of scientific and research experiences.
