Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, President of the Northern Technical University, and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Shahla Abdel-Wahab Abdel-Qader, a scientific panel discussion was held in the Department of Electronic Technologies entitled “Digital Communications and its Development in the Light of the Fifth Generation” delivered by Dr. Raghad Ghaleb Sultan.

The episode dealt with a study of the latest developments in the science of smart device technology in the world

Its aims:

• Studying the stages of scientific development of digital communications until it reaches the fifth generation.
• Learning  about the benefits and harms resulting from smart devices and the frequencies they operate on, as well as how this technology entered the medical fields through surgical operations and health follow-up of the patient from a distance.
