Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and the supervision of the Dean of the Mosul Technical Institute, Assistant Professor Shahla Abdul-Wahab Abdul-Qader, the Department of Medical Laboratory Techniques organized a scientific course entitled (Bacterial production methods for biofilm)

Course objectives:-
- Definition of biofilm, and what is the importance of bacterial cells?
- Identify the types of bacteria that produce biofilm
- Determining the methods used to investigate the biofilm production of bacterial cells
- Identifying diseases caused by biofilm
The course came out after recommendations, which are:-
The use of special treatments or antibiotics that can penetrate through the biofilm and reduce the diseases resulting from it.
