2022-08-22The Ministry of Higher Education launches Iraqi standards for the quality of higher education laboratories
The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has launched the Iraqi standards for the quality of higher education laboratories in its second updated version in light of the national standards of the good educational laboratory GLP.
The updated standards directed by the Minister of Higher Education, Research and Scientific Prof. Dr. Nabil Kazem Abdel Sahib included provisions aimed at improving the laboratory environment as part of the requirements for obtaining specialized program accreditation.
The updated version, which was carried out by the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority, included international standards for laboratories and their environment, clarifying their general, organizational, and technical requirements, and safety and quality assurance requirements that must be met in scientific, research and service laboratories affiliated to the formations of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
