The Minister of Higher Education Honors the Winners of the Day of Science and Innovation Awards within the Iraq Education Conference 2025 — Northern Technical University Achieves Three Distinguished Awards .

On the sidelines of the Iraq Education Conference 2025, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, honored the outstanding individuals and winners of the Day of Science and Innovation Awards.

The ceremony, organized by the Research and Development Authority, celebrated achievements in several categories, including the Encouraging Voluntary Work Award, Authored or Translated Book Award, Distinguished Graduation Project Award, Outstanding Patent Award, and the Innovation Award 2025, which was dedicated to young researchers and distinguished scholars within the Authority.

The Northern Technical University received three prestigious awards, namely:

Outstanding Patent Award – granted to Dr. Omar Khalil, Dr. Omar Rafi, and Mr. Abdullah Adel Badr.

Two Distinguished Graduation Project Awards:

Project 1: Atmospheric Vortex Engine, by Dhalal Saleh Mustafa and Mr. Abdullah Adel Badr from the Mosul Engineering Technical College.

Project 2: Feasibility Study on the Effect of Feeding Awassi Ewes on Concentrated and Restricted Feed with Grazing on Milk Production, by Mr. Wasim Amer Hashim from the Mosul Agricultural Technical College.

The recognition reflects the university’s commitment to excellence in scientific innovation, applied research, and academic leadership at both national and international levels.
