Under the patronage of the President of Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar – in the presence of the President of Selcuk University and his assistants, a delegation from Al-Noor University College, the Vice President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Rafi Mahmood, the President of the Association of Iraqi Doctors Abroad, several deans of the university’s faculties and institutes, and gentlemen Directors of the University Presidency Departments – The activities of the Second Nineveh International Conference for Medical Sciences were launched today in the conference hall at Selcuk University in Turkey. The activities of the first day began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and then the playing of the national anthems of both countries, and then the speech of the President of the University, in which she announced the launch of The proceedings of the first day’s activities were followed by the speech of the President of Selcuk University, after which the first session was opened. At the end of the first day’s activities, the honorable guests and the committees in charge of the work were honored. It is worth noting that the number of participating research papers reached 180, of which 124 were accepted for publication in three journals, including two journals listed in the classification Scopus (Public Journal of Medical Sciences and Malaysian Journal of Microbiology).
