The Iraqi University Libraries Development Committee Visits the Central Library at Northern Technical University .

On Tuesday, October 28, 2025, the Iraqi University Libraries Development Committee from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research visited the Central Library at Northern Technical University. The committee was chaired by Prof. Dr. Marwan Abdul Razzaq Mattar Al-Shammari, with members including Prof. Dr. Salah Abdul Jabbar and Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Abdul Mawjud Al-Badrani.

They were welcomed by the Secretary-General of the Central Library, Dr. Muhammad Fuaad Ibrahim, along with several officials and staff members of the library. The committee reviewed the current state of the library and the services it provides to users, in addition to the modern electronic systems and applications used in managing library operations.

The committee expressed its appreciation for the efforts made to enhance services and improve the working environment, praising the excellent level the library has achieved in digital transformation and the provision of electronic services to students and faculty. The committee also offered a set of constructive observations and suggestions aimed at elevating library operations and improving the performance of university libraries.

This visit is part of the efforts by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to monitor and develop university libraries and enhance their role as knowledge centers that support scientific research and education.
