The Department of Electrical Power Technologies Engineering at the Engineering Technical College / Mosul organized a scientific visit for the students of the third stage, morning and evening studies, to the Mosul Dam Station / the regulatory dam, to enhance the practical side in the engineering specialization, accompanied by the teaching staff, each of the scientific supervisors:

– Dr. Bashar Nadim Ahmed / Professor
– Laith Abdul-Jabbar Khalaf / teacher
– Rasha Abdel Nafeh Mohamed / teacher
– Khansa Idris Hamed / Chief Engineer
The purpose of the scientific visit is to familiarize students with the station’s working system and its production capacity, a practical observation of the electric power generation turbines, a detailed explanation of all parts of the system, control stages, monitoring panels, and the mechanism of connection and equipment with stations and the national network for supplying electric power. As well as identifying the occupational safety system.
At the end of the visit, the teaching staff and students thanked the station management and the accompanying engineers for the warm reception and hospitality, wishing everyone success.
