The Information and Government Communication Division and the Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Unit in our college, in coordination with the Information and Public Relations Division in the Nineveh Traffic Directorate, organized an educational symposium entitled (How to issue a driving license and introduce traffic safety rules).

– Colonel Ammar Mahmoud Abd/ Director of the Media and Public Relations Division in the Nineveh Traffic Directorate.
– Engineer Yasser Azhar Younis/Engineering and Projects Department in the Nineveh Traffic Directorate.

He reviewed traffic rules, praising the directorate’s role in spreading traffic culture through coordination with all government institutions, especially universities, to give awareness lectures to students.

A detailed explanation of how to issue a driving permit and an introduction to traffic safety rules, signs and their types, such as guide signs, mandatory signs, prohibitive signs, warning signs, and priority signs, as well as ground and road signs, explaining the role of each sign in maintaining the organization of roads and the safety of lives, calling on everyone to adhere to the traffic rules and regulations in a way that expresses About the taste, morals and sophistication of society.
The educational symposium came up with several recommendations, the most important of which are:
– Do not use a mobile phone while driving to avoid traffic accidents.
– Adherence to traffic rules, regulations and signs in a way that expresses the taste, morals and sophistication of society, as it reduces traffic accidents within the city.
