2024-10-16The Agricultural Technical College organizes a workshop on the rights and duties of a government employee.
Under the patronage of the Honorable Mrs. President of the Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and under the supervision of the Dean of the Agricultural Technical College, the respected Professor Dr. Shehab Ahmed Youssef, the Legal Division and the Media and Government Communication Division, in cooperation with the Legal Affairs Department in the Presidency of the Northern Technical University, organized a workshop entitled ‘Rights And the duties of a government employee, in the presence of the Dean of the Agricultural Technical College, Mosul.
• Present were: –
1. Dr. Fares Faisal Abdul Ghani/Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs/College of Agricultural Technology.
2. Mr. Hayes Muhammad Mahmoud/ Assistant Legal Advisor/ Legal Affairs Department/ Presidency of the Northern Technical University
3. Mr. Fawzi Salem Hassan/ Legal Advisor/ Director of the Legal Division/ College of Agricultural Technology.
4. Mr. Diaa Ahmed Abdullah/ Director of the Media and Government Communication Division/ College of Agricultural Technology.
The workshop covered:
All rights and privileges enjoyed by a university service employee, as well as a review of the duties that a university service employee must perform, in accordance with the provisions of the University Service Law No. (23) of 2008, as amended, and the instructions issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, as well as a statement of the legal controls related to the subject. University service employee retired.
• The workshop came up with several recommendations, the most important of which are:
– The employee’s commitment to the laws, regulations and instructions applicable to the job because it is a sacred duty and the performance of service to the state, and it is necessary to achieve and enhance loyalty and belonging in his conscience to his department and to fight corruption.
– Maintaining the reputation and dignity of his profession.
