Under the auspices of the President of the Northern Technical University and the supervision of the Dean of the Agricultural Technical College, Professor Dr. Shehab Ahmed Youssef, the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, in cooperation with the Counseling Department at the Presidency of the Northern Technical University, organized a symposium entitled (Drug risks and ways to treat them)
▪︎ The lecture was delivered by:
– Assistant Professor Janan Idris Thanoun / Department of Anesthesiology.
– Instructor Facilitator Mohsen Aziz / Head of the Department of Nursing Techniques / Member of the Drug and Psychotropic Substances Control Committee at the Presidency of the Northern Technical University.
– Assistant Lecturer, Nabaa Khalid Abdullah/ Lecturer at the College of Agricultural Technology.
– Mrs. Tamara Khaled Ahmed/ Lecturer at the Agricultural Technical College.
▪︎ The seminar covered:
A detailed explanation of the dangers of drugs and ways to treat them.
▪︎ The symposium came out with several recommendations, the most important of which are:
– The role of the state or the family in filling the spare time of young people to provide sports or entertainment places or finding and providing job opportunities for young people.
Educational institutions give awareness lectures in schools, institutes, and colleges about the seriousness of drug abuse, electronic harassment, and all other issues affecting the morals of young men and women.
– Ensuring the role of fathers and mothers and following up with their children. And keep them away as much as possible from family problems and bad companions.
▪︎ A number of my teachers, affiliates, and students of the college and the medical and agricultural institute participated in the symposium at the Rashidieh area.
