Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Shehab Ahmed, the Department of Plant Production Techniques organized, and within the scientific plan of the department, a seminar entitled “Fungi that are pathogenic to the respiratory system”, in which he delivered the lecture Assistant Professor Dr. Fahad Khalaf Yassin/ Head of Department

The seminar dealt with the following:

A detailed explanation of the types of fungi that cause respiratory diseases and accompany other diseases, including Coronavirus and tuberculosis.

The episode aimed to:

Knowledge of fungal infections of the respiratory system, especially the lungs, ways of transmission of the disease, and how to treat it.

I made several recommendations, including:

1. Emphasis on cleaning and sterilizing the floors and ceilings of houses contaminated with fungi.
2. Wash fruits and vegetables and keep them away from damaged ones.
3. Wearing masks while working.

A number of faculty and faculty members participated in the seminar.
