2022-10-11The Agricultural Technical College organizes a scientific update entitled “Controlled and Smart Irrigation”
Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and under the supervision of the Dean of the Agricultural Technical College, Prof. Dr. Shehab Ahmed Youssef, the Department of Anti-desertification Techniques organized and within the scientific plan of the Scientific New Department entitled: “Controlled and Intelligent Irrigation,” the lecture was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Essam Mahmoud Mohamed/ Head of the department:
- The newcomer dealt with a detailed explanation of proper irrigation and the foundations of controlled irrigation and smart irrigation.
- The objective of the newcomer is to maintain the foundations of irrigation by reducing excess irrigation according to to need, using modern means that make the irrigation process smart and self-responsive.
