The Administrative Technical College organizes a seminar (seminar) on (Environmental Accounting as an Introduction to Reducing Cases of Environmental Pollution)

Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and under the supervision of the Dean of the Administrative Technical College, Assistant Professor Dr. Samir Taha Yassin, and within the activities of the Department of Business Administration Techniques for the current month of April, the Department of Business Administration Techniques organized a panel discussion entitled “Environmental Accounting as an Introduction to Reducing Pollution Cases.” environmental”

The lecture was delivered by the assistant teacher, Bilal Muhammad Daoud, and the seminar was attended by the Dean of the College, the Head of the Business Administration Techniques Department, and a number of the college’s teachers.

The episode aimed to:

Highlighting the role of environmental accounting and its dimensions of environmental costs, environmental control, and environmental disclosure in influencing the reduction of environmental pollution.

The seminar dealt with:

a descriptive and analytical presentation of the topic of environmental accounting and its impact on reducing environmental pollution cases, as well as clarifying the term and types of environmental pollution, giving a perception of the concept of environmental accounting, environmental costs, and the problems facing environmental costs.

The discussion panel came out with a set of proposals, the most important of which is the need to invest in the relationship between environmental accounting and environmental pollution in intensifying efforts to develop accounting rules, procedures, and standards to surround this environmental crisis and reduce its effects.
